„The Republic of Austria referring to the provisions of Article 17 of the Agreement of 3 April 2001 establishing the “International Organisation of Vine and Wine” formally confirms its acceptance of resolution COMEX 1/2002 at the 82^nd General Assembly of the International Office of Vine and Wine which was held in Bratislava (Slovakia) on 28 June 2002.

Subject to the formal agreement of all Parties to the Agreement on the Establishment of the International Office of Wine of 29 November 1924 the Republic of Austria formally declares its consent that the said Agreement shall be terminated the day after the first General Assembly of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine and that the International Office of Vine and Wine shall simultaneously yield all its assets and liabilities to the International Organisation of Vine and Wine which shall replace the International Office of Vine and Wine with regard to all its rights and obligations.”
