I can confirm you that this is the tenth year since the law in Italy on smokefree hospitality industry came into force.

The judgement on the outcome of the regulations introduced both at workplaces and at bars and restaurants is positive, with an estimated 6.5% reduction in the number of smokers and a concurrent 12.5% reduction in tobacco consumption.

Perspectively, restriction to smoking could be also extendend to stadiums, public parks, beaches, and private cars when childern are onboard
