South Korea
There is close exchange between the Austrian Parliament and the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea at both the political and administrative levels.
In addition to ongoing bilateral visits by parliamentary groups, committee delegations, and the Speaker of Parliament, an in-depth exchange and dialogue has also developed at the administrative level since 2022. In particular, this has been between the Legal, Legislative and Research Services (RLW) of the Austrian Parliamentary Administration and the Legislative Council Office (LCO) of the South Korean National Assembly Secretariat.
Building on this, a two-week administrative exchange between the Austrian and Korean parliamentary administrations was agreed upon at the administrative level in 2024; it will be continued annually on an alternating basis in the future.
