South Korea
There is close cooperation between the Austrian Parliament and the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, particularly at the administrative level.
In addition to ongoing bilateral visits by parliamentary groups, committee delegations, and the Speaker of Parliament, a deeper exchange and dialogue has also developed since 2022 at the administrative level. In particular, this has been between the Legal, Legislative and Research Services (RLW) of the Austrian Parliamentary Administration and the Legislative Council Office (LCO) of the Secretariat of the South Korean National Assembly.
Building on this, a two-week administrative exchange between the Austrian and South Korean Parliamentary Administrations was agreed in 2024; having started in 2025, it will be held annually on an alternating basis.
