Welcome to the official English-language website of the Austrian Parliament.
On October 25, 2024, the Parliament Building will be closed to the public.
Take a behind-the-scenes look at parliamentary activities and interact with the Presidents of the National Council and the Federal Council as well as the MPs.
A 60-minute exploratory tour will take you through the Building - from the Chambers of the National and Federal Councils to the "Plenarium" under the newly erected glass dome.
As a special highlight, you can visit the otherwise inaccessible committee rooms. At the end of the tour we will bid you farewell on the ramp of the Parliament with a unique view over the Ringstraße.
Due to the expected crowds, we ask you to register in advance online for a time slot. By doing so, you will help us reduce waiting times.
The Austrian Parliament is a place of lived democracy. Come on over and see for yourself!
Partake in one of our guided tours of the Building for groups or individuals. Browse the Library and have a cup of traditional Viennese coffee in the adjacent cafe. Or enjoy the culinary wonders in the new rooftop restaurant overlooking downtown.
