Visit the Austrian Parliament

During a visit of the historic Parliament building, you get to experience the building and its people up close and learn about Austria's political system.

Opening Hours from July 20 to September 7, 2026:

  • Monday: 9 AM to 1 PM
  • Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 9 AM to 6 PM
  • Thursday: 9 AM to 9 PM
  • Saturday: 9 AM to 5 PM

Admission ends 30 minutes (60 minutes on Saturdays) before closing time.

Please note that the Parliament Building will be closed from 27 July to 2 August and from 24 August to 30 August 2026.

Guided Tours

Would you like to see behind the scenes of Parliament? Then come on in!

We offer scheduled tours of the main building and the Palais Epstein in English and German. A number of other languages are available upon request.

Events

The parliament's public visibility and open-door approach is reflected in a wide variety of events covering a broad range of topics such as academic lectures, presentations, national and international conferences, cultural events in cooperation with renowned Viennese, Austrian and international festivals. Visitors are required to register for events in advance.
