Day of Parliamentary Research

The annual Day of Parliamentary Research brings together researchers from different disciplines and promotes exchange with parliamentary practice. Find out more about past events and current calls.

The Legal, Legislative, and Research Services (RLW) of the Parliamentary Administration organizes the annual Day of Parliamentary Research. The event provides a platform for current developments in the field of Parliamentary Research, encourages dialogue between academics and practitioners, and supports young researchers.

Academics from various disciplines present and discuss their research on topics relevant to Parliament at this one-day event. In addition to the presentation and discussion of the latest research findings, the event’s focus is on the connection between science and parliamentary practice.

The next Day of Parliamentary Research will take place on June 20, 2024. The organizing team welcomes proposals for contributions in the form of presentations or posters – please submit your abstracts (in English) as a PDF to parlamentsforschung@parlament.gv.at by April 15, 2024.
