• Arrival on the U3 - about 250 m on foot

  Walk in the direction of the Ring Road, labelled as "Ring" on the signs. Take the "Dr. Karl Renner-Ring" exit (stairs). Walk along the outer Ring Road in the direction of traffic to the Parliament Building.

  Cross two lanes at Schmerlingplatz.
  There is a pedestrian crossing there. The curbs are lowered.
  You will arrive at the left-hand corner of the Parliament Building.
  The main entrance is behind the Pallas Athena fountain.
  It is located in the middle of the building, below the driveway for cars.

  Do not go up the ramp to the historical entrance.

• Arrival on the U3 - route explanation with continuous guidance system

  There is no continuous tactile floor guidance system from the underground station.
  If you require a tactile floor guidance system, you can take any tram along the inner Ring Road for one stop.

  At the "Volkstheater" underground station, take the "Volksgarten" exit (stairs).
  The stairs lead to the tram stop on the inner Ring Road.
  Take any tram from here and get off at the next stop, "Parlament”.

  When you get off at the "Parlament" stop, walk in the direction of travel.
  There is no tactile floor guidance system from the tram stop to the pedestrian crossing with acoustic signal.
  The traffic lights are directly in front of the tram stop.
  The curbs are lowered. Cross the Ring Road.
  You will arrive in front of the right-hand corner of the Parliament Building.
  From here, a continuous tactile floor guidance system leads to the main entrance.

• Arrival by tram – tram stop "Parlament" (inner Ring Road) - approx. 120 m

  This route has the best connection to the tactile floor guidance system.

  The following trams will take you to the "Parlament" tram stop on the inner Ring Road:

  • Tram D in the direction of "Nußdorf"
  • Tram 1 in the direction of "Prater Hauptallee"
  • Tram 2 in the direction of "Dornbach"
  • Tram 71 in the direction of "Börse"

  There is no tactile floor guidance system from the tram stop to the pedestrian crossing with acoustic signal.
  If you get off at the "Parlament" tram stop, walk in the direction of travel.
  The traffic lights are directly in front of the station. The curbs are lowered.
  Cross the Ring Road. You will arrive in front of the right-hand corner of the Parliament Building.
  From here, a continuous tactile floor guidance system system leads to the main entrance.

• Arrival by tram stop "Parlament" (outer Ring Road) - approx. 180 meters

  This footpath does not have a continuous tactile floor guidance system.
  The following trams will take you to the "Parlament" tram stop on the outer Ring Road:

  • Tram D in the direction of "Absberggasse"
  • Tram 1 in the direction of "Stefan-Fadinger-Platz"
  • Tram 71 in the direction of "Kaiserebersdorf Zinnergasse"

  From the "Parlament" tram stop on the outer Ring Road, walk about 15-20 meters in the direction of travel to the pedestrian crossing with acoustic signal.
  There is no tactile floor guidance system from the tram stop to the acoustic traffic signal lights.

  Be careful, you are crossing a cycle path. Cross the road at the traffic lights.
  You are now at the right-hand corner in front of the Parliament Building.
