For all editorial questions:

Media have general access to the Parliament Building via the main entrance upon presentation of a press card or letter of accreditation from a media company or a permanent access card; for filming and photography, media are requested to register in advance at

A letter of accreditation from a media company must be presented in printed form together with an official photo ID and should meet the following formal requirements:

  • Subject: Editorial confirmation
  • Current date
  • Name of the person concerned
  • Duration and occasion of the assignment (event, press conference, plenary session, etc.)
  • Period of validity
  • Contact details of the editorial office and telephone number for queries
  • Signature of the editor-in-chief

In addition to a press card or letter of accreditation from a media company, media representatives without a permanent access card also require a QR code for a one-day ticket via online registration.

In most cases, the media may also attend parliamentary hearings.

Parliamentary Correspondence

Parliamentary Correspondence ("Parlamentskorrespondenz") reports objectively, comprehensively and independently of parties from the Parliament. Parliamentary Correspondence reports comprehensively: on the legislative process from the initiative to the committees to the plenary sessions, international visits and parliamentary events. Most of the reports are also distributed via the OTS service of the Austria Press Agency (APA).

With a free subscription to Parliamentary Correspondence, you will automatically be informed about every new report or about reports on selected topics.

Takeover of the TV Signal

With the reopening of the renovated Parliament Building in 2023, ORF became the host broadcaster of the Parliament. This enables the Parliamentary Administration to make the ORF signal of plenary sessions available, for example. Media representatives can access the signal in the clean feed via HLS pull ingest.

For detailed information on the signal transfer, please contact the multimedia team of the Parliamentary Administration at
