Open House Day on October 26 at Parliament

Parliament will once again open its doors on National Day.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., interested visitors can take a look behind the scenes of parliamentary proceedings. A 45-minute guided tour will take visitors through the chambers of the National Council, Federal Council, and Federal Assembly, among other places. In the Columned Hall, guests can talk to Members of the Parliamentary Groups and the Presidium of the National Council and Federal Council.

To reduce waiting times for admission, time slots will again be allocated. It is already possible to book an admission time. The last bookable slot for admission is at 2 p.m.

The Austrian Parliament is a place of lived democracy. Come on over and see for yourself!

Partake in one of our guided tours of the Building for groups or individuals. Browse the Library and have a cup of traditional Viennese coffee in the adjacent cafe. Or enjoy the culinary wonders in the new rooftop restaurant overlooking downtown.

Parliament sees itself as a place for political, societal, cultural and scientific discourse and frequently organises or hosts events about a multitude of subjects which you are welcome to attend.
