During a visit of the historic Parliament building, you get to experience the building and its people up close and learn about Austria's political system.

    It will not be possible to access the Parliament Building on September 27, 28 and 30, 2024

    It will not be possible to access the Parliamentary Library on September 25 and 26, 2024.

    Events

    The parliament's public visibility and open-door approach is reflected in a wide variety of events covering a broad range of topics such as academic lectures, presentations, national and international conferences, cultural events in cooperation with renowned Viennese, Austrian and international festivals. Visitors are required to register for events in advance.

    Visitor Registration

    We strongly recommend that all visitors register ahead of time when visiting Parliament to avoid long wait times.

    • If you book a guided tour via the tour calendar (in German), you do not have to fill out a separate admission form.
    • If you book a group tour via the Visitor Center or a Democracy Workshop, you receive a registration code for the entire group as part of your booking information.

    For other individual visits (e. g. restaurant, Library), please use the registration form.
